History of Oosterman’s Rest Home
In 1946, Greitsen and Eva Oosterman opened Oosterman's Rest Home
with the goal of providing seniors in the Melrose area with exceptional care at reasonable prices. For over 70 years, ownership and administration of the rest home has remained in the Oosterman family.
Today, Oosterman’s is run by 4th generation Administrator Kate Oosterman and her sister Lauren. Because we're family owned and operated, we can provide a level of personalized care that you just can't get at those larger corporate owned facilities. We pride ourselves on making our residents feel comfortable, safe and that they’re truly part of our family.
